The Founder of Geelong Accounting Firm, Patrick Rowan & Associates, Patrick is a well known Geelong name, assisting clients for over 50 years. 

Participating in many community projects and discussion groups, Patrick takes a lead role in the accounting issues facing the Geelong community and the profession as a whole. 

Patrick is keen to see Geelong become a major player in the film industry.

Belinda has a wide range of experience in people management, public relations, content marketing, social media and event management. 

Running her own business, B well connected, Belinda works with clients to connect, raise and nurture ideas. 

She is looking forward to seeing more filming happening in the region and putting the spotlight on the talent that already exists in Geelong and emerging filmmakers.

With a 30 year career spanning graphic design, marketing, video production, voiceover for radio, television and corporate film, Chris has established his media production company, moomedia, as one of the region’s most productive.

A regular podcaster and radio host, specialising in arts and culture, Chris is excited to help showcase the amazing talent of the Geelong region to the global film production market.

Ryan Chamley


Ryan Chamley is an award-winning writer/director and co-owner of Robot Army Productions. In 2016, his debut project “Rostered On” made Australian television history as the first independent comedy acquired by Netflix, with the second season commissioned by 7mate.

He also wrote and directed “My Friend Anxiety” in 2021, which won “Best Screenplay” at The Hollywood Short Film Festival. Following the success of “Rostered On”, Ryan went on to develop “Counter Girls”.

Currently, Ryan is working on his debut feature film and exploring animation, continuing to showcase his passion for storytelling and innovation in filmmaking.

Gavan O'Connor


Gavan is an Australian politican who was an ALP member of the Australian House of Representatives (1993-2007), representing the Division of Corio, Victoria. 

With a strong interest in filmmaking, Gavan owns two production companies. 

He is keen to see Geelong’s next move to be in film and television, creating a viable industry in the region.

Waterfront Film Foundation is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, representative of a cross section of interests and industries including business and the arts. Passionate and hardworking individuals form sub-committees including the Funding Development Committee, Grants, Awards & Festivals Committee and the PR Committee. The Board also has the support of a number of individuals on the Board Advisory Group.
