We’re a small Foundation with BIG ambitions!  Thanks to our donors, sponsors, volunteers and supporters, we’re punching well above our weight when it comes to our events! 

From The REEL Film Festival and 48 Hr: Film Frenzy Shoot Out to industry workshops, local film screenings, Meet Ups and FUN Movie Trivia Nights, there’s always something happening. 

The inaugural REEL Film Festival took place across March – April 2026, bringing together over X filmmakers, creatives and film buffs, for workshops, industry panels, local film screenings, and the National Indian Film Festival of Australia (NIFFA). 

But we’re perhaps best known for our Friends of Geelong Waterfront Film Red Carpet Meet ups – that’s where the MAGIC happens. Our events are relaxed, friendly gatherings where YOU can make industry connections.

And then there’s Movie Trivia! Our fun and fiercely competitive trivia nights bring the community together while raising much-needed funds for the Foundation. Because, after all, we’re a charity!
