Kishore Srinivasaraju is a filmmaker originally from Bangalore, Karnataka, whose journey into the screen industry began far from the world of film. With a background in mechanical engineering and time spent in corporate boardrooms, Kishore realised his true passion was not in business, but in storytelling.

In 2010, he made the decision to step into the direction department and quickly discovered a deep love for the filmmaking process. His engineering background unexpectedly became an asset, helping him understand the technical precision behind visual storytelling.

Kishore began his career as an Assistant Director under acclaimed ad filmmaker and National Award winner V.K. Prakash, working on more than 40 TV commercials with Trends Ad Films. He later progressed to Associate Director on feature films including Kilipoyi (2013) and Candyflip (Netflix, 2019).

In 2013, he moved into freelance directing, pursuing fresh and unconventional creative ideas.

This journey led to the launch of Napoleon Films in 2018, where he now creates high-end TV commercials, digital campaigns, and passion-driven short films.

Kishore believes the best films are born through strong collaboration and meaningful storytelling.
