Charli Penton is a rising young Australian actor currently filming the lead role in a high-profile Australian feature film and set to appear in a key supporting role in a US feature film franchise in 2026.

In 2025, she made her television debut as Tilly Lightwood in the iconic series Neighbours, and her first short film, Bub, entered the festival circuit in 2026.

Charli is a member of the Young Artist Academy™ and the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts.

Her commercial credits include national and international campaigns for Nintendo, BUPA, NAB, Coles, Moose Toys and Isuzu, among others.

On stage in 2025, Charli played Shonelle in School of Rock (Geelong Lyric Theatre Society) and the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz Jnr (Stage Arts Geelong). Charli and her School of Rock bandmates received a Music Theatre Guild of Victoria Ensemble Award nomination and were selected to open the 2025 awards ceremony.

Charli trains in acting technique with Annie Abramczyk (The Professional Performance Prep, New York), studies screen acting and improvisation in the select-entry Screen Acting Teen Masterclass at Grace Acting Studio, and undertakes musical theatre and vocal training at Stage Arts.

With a background in cheerleading, pom and lyrical dance, she has received multiple awards recognising her dedication and growth. In 2024, she was accepted into The Academy at Arts Centre Melbourne, a selective government-funded program for high-performing students in English and the Arts.
