Ella Bourne is an accomplished actor, director, and producer with over two decades of experience in the film industry.

Originally from Apollo Bay, Ella spent the past decade in Los Angeles honing her craft, working across acting, producing, and directing projects in both film and television.

In recent years, Ella has expanded her creative journey into directing, making her debut with the documentary “Great Ocean Love”, filmed along the stunning Great Ocean Road from Torquay to Port Fairy.

Now based in Torquay and currently working on a film project in Melbourne, Ella is eager to reconnect with the vibrant film community in Geelong and the Surf Coast.

Ella is the recipient of a 2026 Geelong Waterfront Film Foundation Grant for “Hanni and the Mermaid”, a short kids film.

Passionate about authentic storytelling and regional filmmaking, Ella looks forward to collaborating with other creatives and contributing to the growing screen industry in the region.
