Based in Geelong, No Limits Geelong is a disability support service with a strong creative focus, providing participants with opportunities to develop skills, build confidence and connect with their community through film and content creation.
Their Film Creation program gives participants hands-on experience across the filmmaking process, from developing ideas and writing scripts through to pre-production, location scouting, casting, acting, cinematography, sound, directing and editing.
Their Content Creation group takes filmmaking out into the community, creating videos and capturing local stories at sporting events, expos, community events and other Geelong locations. There are NO LIMITS to the content they can create!
Headed by filmmaker Luke Massey of Boom Jellyfish, the talented No Limits crew has demonstrated its filmmaking capabilities through productions including Bring Me No. 9 – a Geelong production – You can watch it on You Tube – created by the team, with participants involved across writing, acting, filming, editing, sound and production.
For No Limits Geelong, filmmaking is more than simply making a movie. It is an opportunity for participants to develop practical creative skills, find their voice, work as a team and see their ideas brought to life on screen.
The organisation’s growing body of film and content work makes No Limits Geelong an exciting part of Geelong’s emerging screen community, demonstrating the value of inclusive filmmaking and creating opportunities for people with disability to actively contribute to the region’s creative sector.
We are pleased to have the crew at No Limits play their part in Geelong Waterfront Film!
